The alarm unit which is connected to your phone line will then dial a pre-programmed number, this can be your son, daughter, friend, carer, loved one etc. Or if you’d prefer could go through to a monitoring station where the expertly trained staff will be on hand 24/7 ready to deal with your call should you need assistance.
You would have a choice to have a family member, carer, friends etc telephone number programmed into the unit or for a small additional fee you could have 24/7 monitoring from trained staff at a alarm receiving centre. In the event of an emergency the unit will dial the pre-programmed number and 2 way speech can be established between the two parties.
